I got caught behind the guys who put the road reflectors down today at lunch. You can’t see it, but the guy putting the reflectors down squirts some hot tar on the road and then pushes the reflector down on it.

Me: I started to go to Scholz Garten for dinner last night, but they were closed for some event. Probably something political.
Brian: You mean Barack-toberfest?
Me: Really? They're calling it that?
Brian: (chuckles) I don't know... I made it up.
Neighborhood Drive-in Theater

Brian: I didn't take a real vacation last year. I just went to Leakey (pronounced lake-ee) and spent time on the lake.
Kim: Isn't that kinda near San Antonio?
Brian: Yeah. It's not really a lake, though, it's a river.
Kim and Brian: (at the same time) They should call it Rivery.

Sick day entertainment. Lifehouse and Daughtry. “What day is this? And in what month? This clock never seemed so alive.”
That’s just the way it is
Some things will never change
